Represnations in media are usual stereotypes used for different groups in media, they can either be negative or posetive to make the audience feel and think certain things on characters.
Our opening represents young working class teens negatively as gang members and connected to drugs, this is shown in most other aspects of the media.
Montel Powell's Slidely by Slidely Slideshow
This Slidely has pictures from my movie intro alongside pictures from top-boy and kidulthood to show the negative representation in our and most media of young teens. You can see similarities in locations like our flats and the flats in the background of the top boy advertisement. similarities in characters with young, working class, ethnic minority teen and the weapons used. in most they're wearing dark clothes, lots of layers and clothes associated with school e,g bags and uniform.
